The City of Tucson has announced its schedule for the 2026 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Community Collection Events. These events are designed to help residents safely dispose of household hazardous waste, electronic waste, and paper documents that can be shredded on site. Each event will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a limit of three boxes per person for shredding.
According to the City of Tucson, “the program is free for City of Tucson residents.” However, residents from Sahuarita, Marana, Oro Valley, and unincorporated Pima County will be required to pay a $10 fee.
The collection events will take place at various locations throughout the year:
– January 10: Pima Community College East (8181 E. Irvington Rd.)
– February 14: IBEW (750 S Tucson Blvd.)
– March 14: Pima Community College West (2202 W. Anklam Rd.)
– April 11: Eastside City Hall (7820 E. Broadway Blvd.)
– May 9: Pima Community College Downtown (1255 N. Stone Ave.)
– September 12: Pima Community College East (8181 E. Irvington Rd.)
– October 10: Rodeo Grounds (4823 S. 6th Ave., enter on 3rd Ave.)
– November 14: Eastside City Hall (7820 E. Broadway Blvd.)
– December 12: Pima Community College West (2202 W. Anklam Rd.)
These events provide an opportunity for proper disposal and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
