Regional Transportation Authority schedules Q&A sessions for $2.67B RTA Next plan

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) has announced a series of in-person question-and-answer sessions regarding the proposed $2.67 billion RTA Next plan, which is expected to be on the ballot for voters in March. The sessions are designed to provide information about upcoming regional transportation investments and allow community members to ask questions about future plans for Southern Arizona.

Three community meetings have been scheduled: one in Vail/Corona de Tucson on Wednesday, November 13 at the W. Anne Gibson–Esmond Station Library; another in Green Valley on Monday, November 17 at the Joyner–Green Valley Library; and a third session in Sahuarita on Monday, November 17 at Sahuarita Town Hall.

Residents are invited to attend whichever session best fits their schedule. The RTA encourages participants to bring questions and learn more about how the proposed plan may impact local mobility and shared transportation corridors.
