Councilmember Edgar Lytle of the Town of Sahuarita was recognized at a Veteran Servant Leader Award event hosted by Congressman Juan Ciscomani on Thursday, Nov. 13. The ceremony took place at La Paloma Country Club and honored individuals whose service reflects the values associated with the Armed Forces, including duty, service, and commitment to causes beyond personal interest.

Lytle was nominated for his ongoing dedication to serving both the nation and the local community. His leadership and mentorship were highlighted as examples of how veterans continue to contribute positively to their communities after completing military service.

The event brought together attendees who celebrated the honorees and shared stories about their experiences in service.
