Sahuarita Parks & Recreation has announced the creation of a new Community Run Club. The program is free and open to residents of all running or walking experience levels. Its goal is to encourage movement, community engagement, and support among participants.

The club will meet every Monday during January and February from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the La Villita Community Center. Each session features a group run of about three miles, with individuals able to select their own pace. While most runners average an 11–12 minute mile, all speeds are welcome.

The program is available for those aged 13 and older. Children between 10 and 12 can join if they have a parent’s signature. There is no charge for participation.

Residents interested in joining should register online in advance at SahuaritaParksandRec.org/catalog. For further details, information can be found at SahuaritaParksandRec.org or by contacting Sahuarita Parks & Recreation.

“Sahuarita Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Community Run Club, a free, all-inclusive program designed to bring residents together through movement, encouragement, and community connection.”
