The Town of Sahuarita has announced the return of its annual One Stop Recycle Drop event, scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026. The event will be held at Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing residents an opportunity to recycle various household items in a single location.
Multiple community organizations will participate in the event. Pima County will collect household grease and used cooking oil. The Sahuarita Food Bank will accept non-perishable food donations as well as cardboard materials. Scouts will gather real Christmas trees that are clean and undecorated.
ACE will handle electronics and metals recycling, accepting all electronics and computers, home appliances both large and small, metal car parts and car batteries, all types of metals, Christmas lights, and televisions—including old tube or box TVs, which require a $15 fee per unit.
Waste Connections will provide an on-site dumpster for eligible bulk items.
Residents are asked to pre-sort their recyclables, remove decorations from Christmas trees, and follow directions on site to ensure efficient traffic flow through the event area. Some restrictions or item limits may apply. For further details or questions about specific items accepted at the event, residents can contact works@sahuaritaaz.gov or call 520-344-7100.
