Pima County has made its COVID-19 progress reports, reopening status and health official recommendations available to the general public who can view the information on a recently updated website,  a move which is part of the county's Back To Business steering committee plans.

According to the county's May 27 announcement of the updated website, the website also allows local health officials to monitor COVID-19 data to see if criteria has been met and changes can be made to the county's coronavirus restrictions. The three criteria include disease information, healthcare system capacity and virus tracking and prevention. Red, yellow and green colored indicators state whether the criteria have not been met (red), is in progress (yellow) or has been met (green).

"This webpage will enable members of the public to monitor exactly where we are in terms of meeting the criteria that will drive our decisions on doing what’s best for all members of our community," Pima County Chief Medical Officer and Assistant County Administrator Dr. Francisco Garcia, stated in the county's announcement.

According to the county, data from the Arizona Department of Health Services will be used to label the criteria with the various indicators.

As of June 8, the criteria had not been met for the county in "decreasing cases over two consecutive weeks" and "testing of symptomatic contact within 48 hours."
