Tucson's Office of Economic Initiatives has received a Bronze Award for its project titled, "ConnectTucson Webinar Series."
The ConnectTucson Webinar Series is a series of videos presented by Tucson officials that informs residents of the state of the economy and the videos also discuss ways to make the economy better.
ConnectTucson is a project categorized as "Digital Media of the International Economic Development Council" (IEDC).
IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards is presented to the world’s best economic development programs, presented by local governments.
“The winners of IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development awards represent the very best of economic development and exemplify the ingenuity, integrity and leadership that our profession strives for each and every day,” said 2020 IEDC Board Chair and One Columbus CEO Kenny McDonald in a press release. “We’re honored to recognize the more than 100 communities whose marketing campaigns, projects and partnerships have measurably improved regional quality of life.”
