City of South Tucson Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.

Commander Kevin Shonk is retiring after 30 years of law enforcement service!

Please join us in wishing Commander Kevin Shonk the very best in his retirement after serving as a law enforcement officer for 12 years for the City of South Tucson Police Department, and a total of 30 years in law enforcement serving the community!

                                    Friday, August 27th

                                   1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

                     John Valenzuela Youth Center (J.V.Y.C)

                      1550 S. 6th Avenue, South Tucson, AZ
