Virtual Interview Preparation and Tips on September 1, 2021

Pima County Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Wednesday, September 1, 2021

Time: 12:00PM – 1:00PM

Location: Online event

Description:

In this 60-minute workshop, you will discover best practices for job interviews.

This workshop be held on Zoom.

Register here online, and you will receive an email invite to the Virtual Interview Preparation Workshop between 5 and 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.

Minimum requirements:

  1. smart phone, tablet, or computer
  2. unlimited data or wifi connection to the internet
  3. an active email address you can easily access
  4. the Zoom app or Zoom-compatible internet browser
  5. notebook and pen
About using Zoom

The Library takes your privacy seriously. You are not required to turn on video for this workshop, and you do not have to use your real name. If you want to change your name, enter the name you want to use in the two fields that appear when you join the meeting. If you enter a vulgar or offensive name, we will remove you from the workshop.

Zoom name changes:

  • Open the Zoom app and click on Settings in the bottom right corner of your screen.
  • Click on "Profile" and then "Display Name"
  • Enter your desired new name in the two text fields that appear and tap "ok."
