City of South Tucson issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.
The South Tucson Housing Authority (STHA) now open for 45-day review period. OCTOBER 1 , 2021-NOVEMBER 14 , 2021 (45 DAYS) NOTICE IS NOW GIVEN to the general public that the City of South Tucson Housing Authority (STHA) Draft 5 Year Agency Plan (2021-2025) and the Draft Capital Fund 5-Year Action Plans are available for public review and comment.
The draft plan includes proposed goals and objectives that will enable the STHA to serve the needs of low-income, very lowincome, and extremely low-income families for the next five years. (24CFR§903.6 (b) (1)) The Public may view the draft plans on the City of South Tucson website www.southtucsonaz.gov or by visiting the South Tucson Housing Authority (STHA) Administrative Office located at 1713 S 3rd Ave South Tucson, AZ 85713. Written comments may be submitted via email to stha@southtucson.org or dropped off at STHA 1713 S 3rd Ave.
A meeting open to the general public to discuss the plan will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 5:00 PM at the South Tucson Housing Community Room (La Tiendita) located at 420 E. 28th St. (STHA will follow the current CDC Guidelines). For questions or information call 520-623-8481 The Board of Commissioners will hear and approve the draft plan at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 6:00 PM at the City of South Tucson Council Chambers at 1601 S 6th Ave, South Tucson, AZ.
