Town of Sahuarita issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
On Tuesday, Oct. 26, the town will host Jerry Keely, Chief Information Security Officer for Pinal County, as he discusses the topic of cybersecurity in the Town Council Chambers.
The talk is open to the public (approximately 1.5 hours long) and will be held once at 1 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. The event will also be live streamed on the town's YouTube channel, here: https://youtube.com/c/TownofSahuarita
The session will cover such topics as:
• How to protect your credit information when shopping online
• Social media and information sharing
• How to spot fake emails
• Protecting your online identity
• What to do when cybercrime happens to you
