Green Valley issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
- The 2022 Budget recommended by the Fiscal Affairs Committee (FAC’s) was approved unanimously. This budget includes no dues increase for 2022. The FAC recommended some fee increases to help fund major asset replacements anticipated in the coming years (namely aging pools and spas).
- The Board awarded a contract to Cimarron Circle Construction to build a new pool at East Center.
- The Corporate Policy Manual was amended to include information about the new Maintenance, Repair and Replacement -- Part B Fund mentioned above in item 1.
- Phone-in voting will be a third option for members in the coming election. In recent elections, members had two options: vote online or request a paper ballot to mail in.
- Staff will make a grant request of the GVR Foundation in the amount $25,000, to fund the 2022 Member Assistance Program. The Board authorized requests in this amount through 2024.
