Sahuarita Unified School District #30 issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
Mrs. Valentino's 4th grade class participated in the annual school-wide planting of Texas Sweet Onions.
These sweet onions average 1 lb and 4-5″ in diameter.
They take approximately 100 days to grow to maturity. The Copper View school garden provides endless active learning opportunities for students. We can't wait for the harvest in May!
