City of Tucson issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
The City of Tucson’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is hiring a community project supervisor within the Planning and Community Development management team. This position will oversee the department’s owner-occupied housing rehabilitation activities, including administration of federal subawards with local nonprofit home repair programs and direct supervision of the department’s in-house home residential rehabilitation project team.
Specific duties of this supervisory role include overseeing internal procurement and contracts, coordinating accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and manufactured home rehabilitation initiatives, preparing applications, reports, and other grant solicitation and management activities, identifying and addressing barriers to equitable distribution of housing repair, lead-based paint education, and mitigation services for low-income Tucsonans. Minimum qualifications include at least three years of experience managing community service projects. Applications must be received by Thursday, March 3.
