It’s heating up, so if you plan to set out for a hike through the Arizona wilderness, be sure to plan accordingly to ensure you have a safe and successful adventure. Here's a few tips:
Check the weather before you go.
Bring water - lots of it.
Don’t camp in washes, especially during monsoons of if there's a chance of rain.
Don’t go it alone - Bring someone else with you; if you do go alone, let others know where you plan to hike and when you intend to return.
