Town Seeks Input on Parks and Recreation Survey

Surveyaa

Town of Sahuarita Parks, Recreation and Community Services is updating its Master Plan and seeking community feedback. Input from residents is a critical part of understanding their needs, and feedback will be used to help guide decisions.

A random sampling of 4,000 residents has been invited by mail to take a survey, and these responses will provide statistically valid results. In addition, all residents are invited to provide feedback through an open-link survey that will go live and be shared on April 22 at the web address: https://sahuaritaparksforthepeople.com/

While open-link results will be kept separate from the statistically valid responses, these responses will nonetheless provide valuable information for the department and be included in the final analysis. This project is led by consultant, Berry Dunn, with survey and data work by RRC Associates.

“These survey results will help us create a priority blueprint for improvement and how to grow responsibly,” said Parks Director, Laura Hester. “They will also help us see what types of programs and recreational opportunities our community would like to see at our parks.”

Interested residents may call the Town of Sahuarita Parks and Recreation Department at 520-822-8896 with any questions about the survey.
