Pima County Provides Free Sandbags to Sahuarita/Green Valley Residents

Monsoon season is upon us once again. Desert rainfall is difficult to predict, but the monsoons usually bring enough rain to cause flooding in many places throughout our region. Please be mindful while driving and do not attempt to cross roads or washes that are flooded.

For those who may wish to curb or direct the flow of surface water on their property, Pima County is offering free sandbags at two locations in Sahuarita and Green Valley:

- 210 Continental Road, Green Valley FD, Station 153 in Green Valley

- Intersection of Country Club Rd and Dawson Road in Sahuarita
