Description:
“Women of Strength”
My latest artwork “Women of Strength” is dedicated to the Women in my Family. The inspiration of my images comes from my Mother, Grandmother, Sisters, Aunts and Cousins. Growing up in a large family with a lot of guidance has made me feel grateful and blessed. The robes and blankets in my work represent security, the pottery represent and acknowledges my ancestors presence in my heart.
I create my work on canvas using acrylic paint, I also enjoy painting on wood, terracotta and recycled materials.
Living in Tucson, I am inspired by the beautiful Sonoran Desert, captivating sunsets and the Indigenous beauty that surrounds me.

Thank you.
