Description:
The Sahuarita Library is hosting Certified Navigators from the University of Arizona Center for Rural Health to answer questions and help you enroll in health insurance. If you’ve experienced a qualifying life event, Special Enrollment Period Assistance is FREE of charge and available in English or Spanish!
Special Enrollment Periods can include:
- Changes in zip code,
- Losing healthcare coverage,
- Getting married or divorced,
- Having a baby or adopting a child, and
- Exceptional circumstances (medical condition / natural disaster).
If you qualify, you have 60 days before and after the event to enroll in a Marketplace plan. Medicaid/CHIP is open any time. Certified Navigators can also assist with Medicaid/AHCCCS applications.
