The motor academy, comprised of candidates from the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Pima Community College Police Department, Oro Valley Police Department, and Marana Police Department are training to join their agency's motor unit. The riders will continue to train until next week’s qualifying course, which has to be completed in two minutes and ten seconds without hitting a cone or touching the ground with their feet.
