Winter weather is upon us!
Those living in remote areas or limited road maintenance to be prepared, stocking up on necessary resources before the snow arrives.
Avoid travel in extreme weather if possible.

Winter Storm Warning
Winter Storm Warning issued January 13 at 1:38PM MST until January 15 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 5500 feet. Total snow
accumulations of 5 to 11 inches. Winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph.
* WHERE...Areas above 5500 feet near Doney Park, Flagstaff and
Williams.
* WHEN...From 8 PM Saturday to 5 PM MST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...After a lull in the snow Sunday night,
another storm is forecast to bring additional snow Monday into
Tuesday. Please watch for later statements and possible watches
or warnings.
Snow forecast from 8 PM Saturday to 5 PM Sunday:
Doney Park 4 to 6 inches Flagstaff 7 to 11 inches
Williams 6 to 10 inches.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
