On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, the Pima Regional SWAT (SWAT) team will be conducting training at Sahuarita High School (SHS), located at 350 W. Sahuarita Road, from 07:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The PRSWAT team is comprised of multiple local law enforcement agencies, including the SPD. The campus and baseball fields will be closed to the public during this time.
Residents may see a large law enforcement presence and hear loud noises and yelling from the campus. This training during SHS spring break is part of law enforcement and Sahuarita School Districts' commitment to keeping our students safe and law enforcement professionals prepared.
