The Sheriff’s Department would like everyone to have a safe and enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day. If you plan on consuming alcohol, here are a few safety tips to keep you and others safe:
Prior to drinking, designate a non-drinking driver when with a group.
Don’t let your friends drive impaired.
If you have been drinking, get a ride home from a sober friend, use a rideshare service or call a taxi.
If you are hosting a party, remind guests to plan ahead and designate a sober driver, or make plans to stay the night.
