Baboquivari Unified School District #40 Education: 1,082 Students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,082 students enrolled in Baboquivari Unified School District #40 in the 2022-23 school year, 6.2% more than the 1,019 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.3% of them were girls, and 48.7% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were American Indian or Alaskan Native, representing 90.4% of the Baboquivari Unified School District #40 total enrollment.

Baboquivari Unified School District #40 roughly covers schools within Pima County and has a main office in Sells.

Among the six schools in Baboquivari Unified School District #40, Indian Oasis Primary Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 346 students in the 2022-23 school year.
