There were 32 Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students enrolled in Vail Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Vail Unified District welcomed 14,273 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Vail Unified District roughly covers schools within Pima County and has a main office in Vail.

Each of the 22 schools in Vail Unified District enrolled less than 10 Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander students in 2022-23 school year.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor markets for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.
