There were 170 white students enrolled in Altar Valley Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.7% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Altar Valley Elementary District welcomed 573 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 29.7% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.

Altar Valley Elementary District roughly covers schools within Pima County and has a main office in Tucson.

Among the two schools in Altar Valley Elementary District, Robles Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 109 students.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.
